Introduction

Founded by Derick Ngimba, a teacher inspired by a visit to Massachusetts, Bright Day School is transforming education in rural Tanzania. Derick designed a curriculum that teaches English early, giving students the skills they need to succeed on standardized tests and beyond.

Kwala is undergoing major industrial development, and the school aims to prepare local children for future opportunities, from higher education to high-level jobs. Bright Day has just opened a secondary school and has future plans for a technical college, The school also faces challenges: many families cannot afford tuition or meals. Our support helps fund scholarships, provide lunches, build infrastructure, and supply critical educational resources like computers and books.
